Wednesday’s ADP report, which estimated that employment in the private sector increased by 206,000 in November raised expectations about Friday’s Employment Situation Report. A year ago the initial ADP estimate was for 93,000 jobs. That estimate ended up being revised to 122,000 while the BLS payroll survey showed that employment increased by only 36,000 jobs in November 2010. In November 2009 ADP payrolls showed a loss of -124,000 jobs while the BLS payroll survey showed that employment increased by 48,000. There is really no way to accurately predict this number. Tune in at 8:30.
